General Questions

  • What is the definition of a first-time buyer?

Someone who have never owners or part-owned any property anywhere in the world.

  • What are KYC checks?

KYC stands for Know Your Client.

  • My money is coming from overseas, what do I need to do?

You will need to provide us with a paper trail of where funds are held and how they have been accumulated. We will also need information on who holds the funds. Once we have this information, we will be able to advise what else (if anything) is required.

  • I will be supplying foreign documents, what do I need to do?

All foreign documents that are in a different language will need to be translated, verified and signed by a notary or solicitor for confirmation purposes.

What our customers say

  • The level of communication from New Homes Law was by far the best I've ever had with any company I've worked with. They were professional and transparent about everything.
  • I would definitely recommend New Homes Law. They were all approachable and friendly, and I was comfortable they would be able to deal with my transaction well.
  • As a first-time buyer I'd had no experience before; I didn't know the difference between solicitors and conveyancers. But dealing with New Homes Law was easy, convenient and seamless.
